Camp Impact Twenty-four Jr. High aged youth converged at Woods Camp at East Bay Camp, Bloomington on July 26 for four fun-filled, action-packed, heart-to-soul enlivened days. We played, we worshipped, we humbled ourselves before God and each other and we learned. This camp was created, organized, and staffed by thirty high school students with a heart for serving younger seekers and followers of Christ.

Team Galveston In November of 2008, IMPACT students answered an emergency call to aid in the Hurricane Ike relief efforts at Galveston, Texas. Streets and school yards were cleaned of wind-strewn litter and debris from dismantled homes. Food was sliced, diced and served to the homeless and hungry. De-construction of a severely storm-ravaged apartment building was gutted and hauled away. Most importantly, residents of Galveston witnessed the love of some teenagers from Illinois who came to pray with them, cry with them and share the gospel.
IMPACT completed its return service trip to Galveston from March 20-28, 2010. Many good things came out of this trip, including a new swing set for kids of one of the families Team Galveston worked with and for during the week. Praise God for His faithfulness in seeing this trip through.

Team Brazil In June 2009, IMPACT students served for 18 days in the Amazon jungle in Brazil. Living on a boat, they built a church on stilts surrounded by the raging waters of a flooded Amazon River, performed interior construction jobs at a church nearing completion in the city of Santarem` and poured concrete floors for a Christian camp worship arena for the PAZ church.
